　　The ISPMM（International Symposium on Precision Mechanical Measurements）had been successfully held by Hefei University of Technology in Hefei (2002), Beijing (2004) and Xinjiang (2006). Now, The 4th ISPMM will be held in Hefei and Mt. Jiuhua on August 25-29, 2008. The theme of International Symposium on Precision Mechanical Measurements (ISPMM'2008) is "New Century, New Technology and New Development". The main purpose of this symposium is to promote the academic communication among the experts and the scholars all over the world in the field of precision measurements in mechanical engineering, and exhibit to the participants the recent research focuses, the newest productions and the developing trend in this field.
