Xiaoping Liu (Liu Xiaoping),
Male, born in 1964, Ph.D. Professor of 508 Division, school of computer
& information of Hefei University of Technology. He is secretary-general
of CACIS (Computer Application federation of China Instrument &
control Society is a national special subordinate of China Instrument&Control
Society, which is located in Hefei University of Technology, Hefei,
Anhui Province of PRC. CACIS has devoted to popularization of research
and application of computer science and technology for many years,
especially to the application of computer science in the instrument
and control field). He is also syndic of China society of system simulation
and committeeman of CAD/CG academic committee of China Computer Federation.
Main interests are computer aided modeling, visualization and CSCW.
Currently, research emphasis focus on Digital Reactor Technology.
Prof. Liu won his bachelor's degree from Shandong University in 1985,and
master and doctor's degree from Hefei University of Technology. In
CAS, Prof. Liu studied as visiting scholar from 1996 to 1998 in CAD
Lab, Institute of Computing Technology of CAS, and worked as Post-doctor
from 1999 to 2000 in ASIPP. To research and development system of
digital reactor, his "Hundred Talent Project" of CAS was
approved in 2000. Prof. Liu has wide academic cooperation with institutes
and universities both home and abroad. There are 13 students for MS.D
and 3 students for Ph.D now. Students or Visiting scholar for CAD
and Computer science are welcomed.
